The Dual Language Learner (DLL) Family Referral Specialist is field-based and serves English and Dual Language families throughout the state of SC. The position provides oversight and management of the collection of information on child care programs to provide child care referrals and resources to families and community members contacting SC Child Care Resource & Referral (SC CCR&R) via the website, phone, or in-person. The DLL Family Referral Specialist focuses on increasing access to high-quality child care opportunities and financial assistance options for children and families, with a priority to those families for whom English is not their first language. It is a 12-month, full-time research grant position with benefits as part of SC CCR&R hosted at the USC College of Education Child Development Research Center.
